Andy Byron and the Lost River Band

After a detour away from music for over 20 years, in 2007 I released my first CD of original material called, “SOMEWHERE OR NOWHERE.” The music delivers upbeat country to acoustic folk to driving country-rock with focus on meaningful lyrics. One track, “FORTY MILES TO SAN ANTONE,” spent 12 weeks during the Spring and Summer of 2008 on the EUROPEAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOC. charts peaking at #70. On 9/10/07 my band and I performed for a packed house at our CD Release Party held at the KNITTING FACTORY CONCERT HOUSE in Boise, Idaho. Since August, 2008, my band and I have opened for DAVID ALLEN COE, MICHAEL MARTIN MURPHEY and ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL. In addition, I have opened solo for JOHNNY LANG, RANDY TRAVIS, INGRID MICHAELSON and LITTLE BIG TOWN. With exceptional musicians and a pleasing, fun and comfortable stage presence, we have become the “in demand” opening act in and around Boise, Idaho for all touring country acts.
