Wendy Matson

Wendy is a storyteller who describes universal human issues through her music. As an environmentalist, she points out the interconnectedness of all with the planet. Her music is meant to heal with lyrics are as important as the music. She covers the full range of emotions: anger, serenity, sadness, happiness, humor, and spirituality. Her repertoire is eclectic, from folk to funk. Wendy Matson creates thoughtful, intelligent music.

In addition to her solo performances Wendy played for three years with cellist Wesley Steele.
They are also currently playing together in a band called New Ridge.
