Lincoln Haury, Violinist
Lincoln Haury is a classically trained professional Violinist performing in and around Boise and the Treasure Valley. He is available to play all types of venues, including weddings, art galleries, wineries, romantic dinners, marriage proposals, open houses, and other special occasions where an extra touch of class and elegance is desired. Lincoln is also lead violinist for up-and-coming local rock band Fetish 37.
Lincoln Haury began playing the violin at the age of nine. Since then, his passion for music and mastery of the violin (as well as encouragement from friends and family) have inspired him to play professionally. His resume includes the Sierra College Chamber Orchestra; Humboldt Symphony Orchestra; various rock, jazz and bluegrass bands including Face Cards, Bias, Lo-Fi Breakdown, The Cutters, many weddings, parties, and other special occasions; and toured nationwide with The Datura Blues. He has also been the subject of feature articles in the Eureka, CA Times-Standard and The Arcata Eye newspapers.
Lincoln devotes much of his time to reading and studying, and has a passion for learning. He is an Eagle Scout, studied Forestry at Humboldt State University, and has worked in a variety of professions including construction, customer service, retail management, network marketing, and technical support. His hobbies include karaoke, traveling, camping, cooking, horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, walking his two dogs, leather crafting and blacksmithing.
