New TransitNew Transit is a Boise, ID Americana/ Alt Country/ Rock band that was established in the fall of 2009. The band is currently comprised of; Sean Hatton(vocals, guitar, bass), Louis McFarland(drums, vocals), Dave Manion(Pedal Steel, guitar), Todd Sloan(vocals, bass, guitar) and Bernie Reilly(keyboard, vocals, guitar). The group plays mostly original material with a few covers sprinkled into the mix. To date they have released two full length LP’s. The first record “One” was released in 2011 and their sophomore effort “Country Music Dead” was released in the fall of 2013. The band stays busy playing popular local venues including; Pengilly’s, Revolution Concert House, Knitting Factory, etc.. as well traveling around the Pacific NW. The band has opened for notable acts such as Dawes, Reckless Kelly, Leon Russel, Chris Isaac, Roger Clyne and The Peace Makers and Trace Adkins just to name a few. |
