Scorch The Fallen

Out of Boise, Idaho are five headstrong-dedicated musicians with only one thing screaming out of their heads, fucking metal. Originally formed in 2010 with four members that quickly evolved into the band they are today with five, they continue to evolve as musicians and collaborate on the writing process to bring disaster to your neighborhood. They bring music that has the structural influences of All Shall Perish, Thy Art is Murder, and Lamb of God. They bring riffing back like Lamb of God and Pantera, bass heavy riffs like Beyond Creation, Tool, and Abiotic. The ivories heavily influenced by Winds of Plague, The Browning, and Born of Osiris. And the Vocals are what make this project sound apart from the rest.
Currently we have Shawn Gilbert on Vocals, Kevin Overton on Guitar, Krystle Cabeltera on Keys, Stefan Henshaw on Bass, and Kyle Jellerson on drums. Each musician brings their own influences to the table and as a whole are able to create the disasterpiece they’ve sought out from early in each of their individual careers as musicians. They bring gut wrenching breakdowns with dual riffing on the bass and guitar, to the melodic finger-dancing from the keys player to bring some depth to the bass and guitar. Then there are the drums, technical at best and tasteful at the same time to bring out the punchiness of every transition and emphasize the progressive structure of each piece. Lastly, the vocals top it off with influences of deathcore and punk to bring the edge, to show how pissed off they really are, and to bring that to their audience in a less than classy fashion.
